A second good news: The Consensus Conference in Suzhou/China (5th Meeting IEHS) for the development of Guidelines on Laparoscopic Treatment of Ventral and Incisional Hernias was a great success, more than 400 participants, excellent organization and an outstanding high level of the scientific presentations. Actually the guidelines are in preparation for publication. We are convinced these guidelines will also become to a milestone in ventral and incisional hernia repair.

Already now it is a great pleasure for us to invite you to attend our next meeting held in Belgrade/Serbia (15. – 17. November 2012) . The meeting is dedicated to the development of guidelines in hiatal hernia repair.
